Halfway the afternoon, dynamic duo Grant Tiller (Principal Product Manager Automation) and Dave Bryant (Product Director RES ONE Service Store) took the stage to present Product Road map RES ONE Automation and Service Store.
Because they presented a lot of great upcoming features, a lot of pictures where taken:
The RES FOCUS 2016: Today’s RES and Beyond post already mentioned a multi-threaded RES ONE Automation Tech Preview, planned for later this year. This slide also promises a faster and lighter code base.
Like all the other products RES ONE Automation also will be ported to a web console.

Important for RES is the Community which supports their products. Next to the RES Software Valued Professionals (RSVP), a new initiative was launched during RES FOCUS 2016: RES VIP.
Support for SQL Azure and splitting up datastores which already was possible with RES ONE Workspace, will be supported somewhere in the future of RES ONE Automation.
Finally IPv6 is getting some lovin’ from customers, so it’s inevitable RES ONE Automation will support IPv6 too. It’s coming, somewhere next year…
Like with all the other Product Release announcements done at RES FOCUS 2016, none of them can be guaranteed and are therefore no rights can be derived from this information.
